Through-life support (TLS)
With a wealth of experience in the design and production of personal protective equipment, Marck & Balsan is one of the few firms to offer an internal Through-life support (TLS) service.
A specialised unit is in charge of controlling, tracing and locating category 1-3 PPE (Personal Protection Equipment).
The teams are trained to assess and take action over garments classed in the “life-threatening risk” category (PPE cat. 3), such as:
- Textile outfits for fire fighters
- Ballistic protection
- Protective clothing for industry
Through-life support is one of Marck & Balsan’s areas of expertise. In particular, it serves the French ministries of Defence and the Interior and major private accounts.
